Maria Francisca Quaresma is an associate lawyer at Spear Legal and focuses her practice on Tax Law and Tax Litigation.
In the area of Tax Litigation, her experience includes advising domestic and multinational companies on various tax matters, including income taxes, indirect taxes, and sector-specific levies.
Her work spans from the administrative phase before the Tax Authority to the judicial phase before Administrative and Tax Courts, Arbitration Courts, and, on appeal, before the Higher Courts.
She also has experience providing active legal and tax advisory services to domestic and foreign taxpayers regarding income taxes and wealth taxation.
Before joining Spear Legal, she worked at leading law firms in Portugal, where she consolidated her technical expertise.
